Celina Amaya (b.1976) is an artist currently based in Santa Barbara, CA.
She holds a BFA from Museum School of Fine Arts (Boston, Ma.) and a MFA from George Washington University (Washington, DC.)
We shape the land and the land shapes us. Exploring the idea of landscape through paintings on glass, drawings and sculpture. Especially interested in the idea of the sublime, and how beauty and awe for the natural world can exist in a physical representation as well as in an imagined internal world.
